Beth is best known for her work as Caroline Channing in the CBS series 2 Broke Girls created by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings. Behrs co-starred alongside Sally Field and Max Greenfield in the indie comedy Hello, My Name is Doris. Her other recent film credits include being the voice of “Carrie Williams” in the Walt Disney Pixar animated film Monsters University. Beth released her health and wellness book “The Total Me-Tox” in the Summer of 2017. 

In addition to performing and being one of the founders of SheHerdPower, Behrs has been actively involved with other charity organizations such as Children of the Night, American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) , The Rape Foundation and The Geffen Playhouse. In 2015, she was awarded the Television Industry Advocacy Award for her work with The Rape Foundation, and in 2016, she received the ASPCA Compassion Award for her work surrounding horse rescue. 

An avid animal lover from a young age, Behrs credits her mustang mare rescue, Belle, for being the catalyst and the spirit behind SheHerdPower. When Behrs is not on screen or running SheHerdPower, you can find her at the barn, playing with Belle or riding bareback and bit-less on the trails through the Santa Monica Mountains. 

Cassandra is a respected member of the Equine Guided Education & Equine Assisted Learning communities, and is a leading name in the development of horse based personal reflection and empowerment programs for adults and youth. She is a Certified Equine Guided Educator, EAGALA member since 2004 and trained with Gordon Training International in communication skills and conflict resolution.

In 2010, Cassandra founded The Reflective Horse, a unique set of programs bringing horses and humans together to build leadership and communication skills in addition to growing self-awareness, and a deep connection with the natural world. Cassandra brings this foundation of passion and life-long personal development as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, along with her study of horses and their incredible healing capability to SheHerdPower.

Cassandra is dedicated to creating and implementing equine programs that inspire partnership and collaboration. Having developed the concept of Equine Guided Empowerment™ and Somatic Reprogramming™, she believes in teaching through hands-on, nature-based experiences that build confidence and competence, honoring the individual qualities of each horse and client. She is dedicated to creating and providing enriching human-development experiences through interactions with horses and nature.

Dawn is a LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in private practice, specializing in the treatment of survivors and offenders of sexual abuse and sexual assault. Starting her career in the early 90’s, she has become an expert in the field and developed her unique treatment program, working with individuals, families, and groups to heal trauma. OPRAH, Anderson Cooper, CNN and many publications and news stations have recognized her pioneering work. 

In treating survivors, Dawn also saw the need to treat offenders. She has now treated over 2,000 offenders with her 360-degree philosophy in addressing the societal symptoms of sexual violence. By working with people who have offended as well as the victims, parents, spouses and families, she has become a more well-rounded therapist and has gained a deeper understanding of all the dynamics of sexual abuse to further assist survivors.  

After discovering the healing power of horses, Dawn saw the enormous opportunity to combine that healing with her groundbreaking treatment program. Her workshops are geared towards teaching people to be more present in each moment, re-evaluating healthy relationships and enabling accountable choices in life.

Emily is a Certified Nursing Assistant and Program Coordinator for a mental health treatment center. She is currently a graduate student at Pepperdine University studying Clinical Psychology in hopes of becoming a trauma-focused Psychotherapist.  

Since Emily was a little girl, she has always felt the powerful connection and sacred bond between animals and humans. After having a life changing experience as one of Cassandra Ogier’s clients at The Reflective Horse’s Somatic Riding Program, Emily felt compelled to share and teach others the profound healing and personal growth that comes from the horse-human connection. Emily looks forward to helping other women experience the transformative magic of equine guided empowerment and somatic reprogramming.

Carla grew up in Germany and began riding when she could barely walk, competing in dressage, showjumping, and eventing. Throughout her time taking lessons and competing she was always looking for a different way of working with horses - one that encourages trust, curiosity, and true communication between horse and human. 

In Summer 2016, Carla completed her degree in Ecopsychology & Equine Guided Education & Therapy at Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA. During her time in college, Carla completed her Equine Guided Education certification with Ariana Strozzi at Sky Horse Ranch and subsequently interned with The Reflective Horse with Cassandra Ogier.  During that time, she focused on coaching and facilitating teenagers in recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges.

She joins The SheHerdPower team as CEGE from the Pacific Northwest, where she lives with her horse Franky. Carla’s life passion is to study horse-human relationship, and she is committed to working with horses and humans in a way that offers a mutually fulfilling and enriching experience.

Allie is currently a trainee marriage and family therapist at UC San Diego Family Medicine where she provides therapy for clients with a wide range of mental health concerns. She feels privileged to be able to bear witness to her clients’ stories, which are a daily reminder of the resiliency of the human spirit and what it means to be brave.

In addition to her work at UC San Diego, Allie was a past intern at the Reflective Horse and is currently an Equine Therapy Assistant for SheHerdPower. Allie has found deep healing through being with horses and considers them to be her greatest teachers in learning to live an authentic, courageous life. She finds meaning in supporting other women to have their own experiences with horses and never ceases to be amazed by the power of the horse-human connection. 

Raised in Santa Barbara, California, Anna grew up passionate about animals and outdoor life. After a high school internship at a veterinary hospital dissuaded her from a career in animal medicine, she attended San Francisco State University where she earned a degree in News Journalism. From there, she moved to New York to pursue a career in photography and production.

In the last six years Anna developed a special interest in horses. Working first-hand with these wonderful creatures, she volunteered at several barns before living and working on the 89,000-acre Chico Basin Cattle Ranch in Colorado as photography intern, and then as a ranch-hand in New Mexico. She came back to Los Angeles with a need to continue her connection with horses and nature. Anna soon found The Reflective Horse and was immediately attracted to its unique approach to the horse-human relationship. She now brings together her passion for these majestic beings, and her creative eye and production expertise to the SheHerdPower team. She intends to continue her learning and career as an independent photographer as she takes on the role of motherhood to her son born in 2016.

Kimberly Carlisle is co-founder of Flag Ranch, a horse-human sanctuary, along with “Flag" himself, who recently passed as the oldest member of the herd of 32 horses, at the age of 34 years. He was a descendant of Leland Stanford’s famous Standardbred stud, “Electioneer.” The year of Flag’s birth in 1983, Kimberly was graduating Stanford University. 

Kimberly was a member of ten U.S. national swimming teams, including the 1980 Olympic Team for which she received a Congressional Gold Medal. Flag won 111 of 121 starts in five years on California harness racing tracks. They were both in the racing game. Their partnership spanned 21 years and includes the direct care of 50 horses at Flag Ranch, who have known life instead of death, freedom instead of confinement, confidence instead of anxiety, love instead of abuse, and the experience of being a horse in a natural herd.

Thousands of people have experienced or read the horses’ stories through attending The Whinnies! Best of Equine Film festival, of which Kimberly is the founder and curator. Kimberly and Flag have quietly and consistently provided a strong voice of life-long care, freedom and advocacy of the horse, as well as opportunities for humans to immerse with the herd and emerge informed, awakened and inspired.

The horses at Flag Ranch are from unique and varied rescue scenarios. From use in equine sports, from racing to polo, many have been cast off by Thoroughbred breeders. Others had their urine farmed by pharmaceutical producers to make Premarin and Prempro, estrogen therapies for women. They’ve come out of the Western ranges as the U.S. government steadily and secretly eliminates our wild Mustang herds. Each horse represents a plight occurring somewhere in our nation today which is sending hundreds of thousands of horses to slaughterhouses in Canada and Mexico each year.

Most of their horses would have ended up there too, except for thoughtful placement and sometimes heroic rescue by someone who loved them. They range in age from five to twenty seven, and include mares, geldings and three mother/daughter pairs.  Together they’ve formed a beautiful weave of interdependence, individual expression and distinct and profound bonds, examples for us all. They live as a natural herd, grazing 90 acres at liberty. Together with Flag Ranch's charitable partners, they are provided a sanctuary for life.

Misha and Amy are web development and digital marketing professionals from Brookline, MA.  In their respective careers, Misha works as a Lead Engineer for a prominent eCommerce company and Amy works as VP of Digital Strategy for a Boston-based advertising agency.  In addition to their professional lives, they are both working artists and craftsmen honing their skills in leather work and textile development.  It is the intersection of art and science where they have found their passion - developing beautiful, functional websites for their own business and others while extending support to non-profit organizations like SheHerdPower to help build their digital foundation. 

They are thrilled to lend their web development and creative skills to the SheHerdPower team.  Both are ardently committed to advancing the rights and voices of women and firmly believe that SheHerdPower is a powerful next step in the journey towards healing for women, reclaiming of voice, and the advancement of the cause.
